Sensational sound. So unique and flexible!
My first experience with the DREI was seeing it being used in a gig/clinic (Cam Blokland @ the fringe 2012). Once I heard it I just had to go and find out more.
This is a fantastically well made versatile amplifier that would suit musicians who are really looking for their sound.
Everything can be adjusted - volume to each tube, bright and normal volumes, brightness to give the perfect sound, from a rich clean jazz to a dirty overdriven distortion. Will run anything from a 1x10" - 4x12" cab. I've played mine personally with a laney 1x10" celestone 65 and a orange 4x12" celestone vintage 30's with excellent results.
For the jam room/smaller gig venue you have an incredible range for volume. You certainly won't be struggling to keep up with anyone. From a recording/studio POV, the fine control you have with volume allows you to have the all-out gig-volume amp sound, but at a level you can mic up and record with.
You seriously need to hear this beauty, someone finally made an amp built for sheer pleasure.

Beautiful Clean Sound
I have been combining the DREI with a Fat50 head for some of my bigger shows. I like running 2 heads (1 for clean, 1 for crunch) and when it comes to clean tones, the DREI takes the cake. Absolute tonal freedom that will never break up (unless you want it to). I've been pulling a gorgeous, punchy jazz sound out of it.
Everyone loves this amp, you will too.

Studio godsend!
There are few amps as valuable to me in the studio as the Palmer DREI. Thanks to its three individual and blendable output sections (EL84, 6V6 and 6L6) I can quickly create the fundamental sound, control and natural reactivity of most major amp food groups. I can also dial in as much of the Normal or Bright input (or mix them) as need be. This makes for one versatile and valuable studio asset. I've coupled the DREI with a 1x12 Greenback loaded cabinet, also from Palmer, and I’ve used this combo more than any other in my Youtube demos since I've owned it. It's just that good. Try one, you won't regret it.

Studio/Small Gig Dream!
I was lucky enough to be one of the first players invited by Sonic Frog to try out the Palmer DREI Triple Single Ended Guitar Amplifier. All I have done is rave about it since!
The 15 watt all valve head doesn't compromise on tone or craftsmanship.
I've used this amp for small gigs (breakup or clean), large gigs (mic'd up) and in studio recording: which is to me, where this amp shines. Make the amp a clean Fender or a cranked up Marshall and you'll fall in love with the tone and the general feel of the amp.
If you like good tone at suitable volumes (studio recording), so the amp can sing, then the Palmer DREI is for you. Try one out!
The DREI also takes pedals incredibly well.
